The Rolling Stones £5 Copper-Nickel 2022 is a unique coin celebrating the 60th anniversary of the band “The Rolling Stones.” The band consists of icons of British music who have undoubtedly earned their place in rock ‘n’ roll history as true musical legends. The coin is minted from a copper-nickel alloy, weighs 28.21 grams, and has a diameter of 38.61 mm. The mintage of the coin is unlimited. In addition, this extraordinary specimen was produced by The Royal Mint. The coin is guaranteed by the British government as to its legality, purity of the metal, and origin of the metal, and is legal tender in the country of issue. The obverse features an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination and year, designed by Jody Clark. The reverse of the coin depicts The Rolling Stones during a concert and the inscriptions “THE ROLLING STONES” and “'62'22”. Hannah Phizacklea is responsible for the design of the reverse.Designer
