The silver coin is minted from pure Ag.999 silver, weighs 2 troy ounces, and is in ultra high relief and antiqued standard. The mintage of the coin is 1,500 pieces. The product is legal tender in the Cook Islands. The obverse features an image of Queen Elizabeth II and, in the background, a beautiful design with a globe and some historical instruments. The obverse also features the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “COOK ISLANDS,” “HISTORIC INSTRUMENTS,” and the denomination. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
