In Norse mythology, the Valkyries were the daughters of Odin. The most important of the Valkyries' tasks was to carry the souls of warriors fallen in battle to Valhalla.The silver coin was struck in pure Ag.9999 bullion, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 38.61mm. The mintage of the coin is 999 pieces. The coin was produced by Germania Mint. Each piece has an individual, original packaging with a certificate of authenticity. The designer of the coin was Mateusz Frąckowiak. The Averse depicts Germania Mint's characteristic double-headed eagle, howling wolf and Germanic runes. The obverse also features the inscription "GERMANIA" and information about the weight, purity of the bullion, year of minting and face value.The Rewers of the silver coin depicts a colourful Valkyrie dressed in armour with the Algiz rune on it.
