Tuvalu: Gods of Olympus - Artemis 1 oz Silver 2023
The Gods of Olympus series is a notable offering from renowned precious metals producer The Perth Mint. The Gods of Olympus collection was first publicised in 2014 and sold out immediately. In 2020, there is a re-issue of this remarkable collection and this time, in addition to the coins having an 'Antiqued Finish', the manufacturer has also prepared an investment - bullion version. The silver bullion coin depicting Artemis is a product made of pure Ag.9999 bullion, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 40.9 mm. The 2023 coin is the eighth coin in the Gods of Olympus series. The coin is guaranteed by the Government of Tuvalu and is a fully fledged means of payment within the country. Importantly, it is a silver piece and has a strictly limited mintage of 13 500 pieces. It is therefore worth taking an interest in this coin, as well as the entire series.
The Averse of the silver coin shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information about the face value, weight, mintage and date of issue. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Rewers shows the figure of Artemis with a bow accompanied by a stag, designed by Jennifer McKenna. In addition, the reverse features the inscription 'ARTEMIS' and a mint mark in the form of the letter 'P'.
