Obverse depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription "ELIZABETH II", "TOKELAU" and "EQUILIBRIUM". The obverse also bears information on the minting date of the currency.
Reverse shows the inscription "EQUILIBRIUM" and the symbol of Yin and Yang, as a balance between environment and technology. The reverse side shows the weight, bullion sample and face value of the currency.
