The whole is surrounded by the inscription" ELIZABETH II", "TOKELAU" and information on the year of mintage and the face value of the coin. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Rewers depict an aggressive depiction of a bull and a bear. The reverse also features information on the weight and purity of the bullion. The Bulmint mint logo is located on the lower left side of the coin next to the bull's hoof.
