The obverse of the coin features the image of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, designed by Dan Thorne. It also includes the denomination of the coin.
The reverse depicts an adult swan. Additionally, the reverse features the inscription "AUSTRALIAN GOLD SWAN" as well as information about the weight and purity of the gold in which the coin was minted. The reverse was designed by Aleysha Howarth.
