The Super Pit Australia 1 oz Silver 2022 coin is a unique value for Australia. The coin showcases the Super Pit, Australia's open pit mine, which in its official form is called The Fimiston Open Pit. It is the largest mine of its kind within Australia. The limited edition 2022 coin is a minted piece of pure Ag.9999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 40.9 mm in diameter. The uniqueness of the product is underlined by the limited mintage in which it was struck - 100,000 pieces. It is produced by the renowned Australian mint, The Perth Mint, and is guaranteed by the Australian government and is legal tender in the issuer's country. The product comes with the original cap.

The obverse of the silver coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain along with information about the face value and the issuing country. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark. The reverse features a Komatsu dredger at the Super Pit mine site in Australia. In addition, the reverse side bears the inscription 'SUPER PIT AUSTRALIA' and information about the weight and the bullion proof in which the coin was struck and the year of issue. On the reverse side, the mint mark of The Perth Mint - the 'P' - is affixed.
