St. Lucia: Flamingo 1 oz Silver 2019 is a silver coin, part of the EC8 (Eastern Caribbean Coin Program) collector programme. EC8 is an eight-coin series issued by islands such as Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla and Montserrat (each of the aforementioned islands is a member of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank). Each release of the EC8 represents a different island and has its own individual image. The Flamingo is a coin that is minted in pure Ag.999 silver, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 39 mm. It is limited to a mintage of 25,000 pieces and is issued by US precious metals producer Scottsdale Mint. In addition, each silver coin is packaged in a plastic cap.The Overt of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information on the issuing country, weight, bullion proof and denomination of the coin.
