St Helena: Goddess - Hera and the Peacock 1/4 oz Gold 2022
The gold coin depicting Hera is a product made of pure Au.9999 bullion, weighing 1/4 troy ounce and measuring 22.5mm in diameter. Hera in Greek mythology is the goddess of fertility and the patroness of marriage and motherhood. She was the wife of Zeus. This coin is guaranteed by the government of St Helena and is a full-fledged means of payment in this country. Importantly, it is a gold piece and has a strictly limited mintage of 1,000 pieces. It is therefore worth taking an interest in this coin, as well as the entire series. The coin was placed in an individual, original packaging. The Overt of the gold coin depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and information on the face value, date of issue and issuing country. The designer of the obverse was Jody Clark. The Rewers shows the figure of Hera riding in a chariot drawn by sacred peacocks, with their tails covered by hundreds of the ever-watchful eyes of the mighty Argus, called the so-called Argus eyes. The reverse was designed by Joel Iskowitz.
