St George and the Dragon 1 oz Silver 2025 is the second release in the bullion coin series dedicated to the legend of Saint George and the Dragon, offering a new interpretation of this timeless tale. Known since the 11th century, the story continues to inspire artists and collectors worldwide. This year's edition features a reinterpretation of the design by George Kruger Gray, originally created for the 1935 Silver Jubilee of King George V. For the first time, this dramatic design appears on a coin enriched with neo-Gothic stylistic elements.

The coin is struck in .999 fine silver, weighs 1 troy ounce, and has a diameter of 38.61 mm, in line with The Royal Mint’s bullion standard. It is a legal tender coin with a face value of 2 British pounds, guaranteed by the UK government for its legitimacy, metal purity, and origin.

Obverse features the official portrait of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings.

Reverse by George Kruger Gray shows a dramatic scene of Saint George battling the dragon. The Gothic-inspired composition depicts the hero piercing the beast with a lance, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The reverse also includes inscriptions indicating the year of issue, weight, and metal purity.
