South Korea: Chiwoo Cheonwang 1 oz Silver 2020
Chiwoo Cheonwang considered a hero in both Chinese and Korean culture. Leader of the Nine Li tribe from ancient China. Chiwoo is one of the three legendary founding fathers of China and the 14th Shinshi Emperor, the first semi-legendary state, cradle of the first Korean nation.
The silver medal, produced in South Korea by KOMSCO, has a sample of silver Ag.999, a weight of 1 troy ounce and a diameter of 40 mm. The coin is another edition of a popular series of medals with the image of Chiwoo Cheonwang among collectors.
On the obverse features Chiwoo Cheonwang's shield design with an image of Dokkaebi, a unique mythical creature from Korea called a ghost, monster or god, similar to the hob-goblin from Western culture. In addition, the obverse also contains information about the issuer's country, bullion sample, face value and the year the currency was minted. Also important to note is the manufacturer's stamped logo.
On the reverse side the medal features an image of Chiwoo Cheonwang, who is dressed in war costume. The reverse side also bears the inscription "CHIWOO CHEONWANG".
