Silver Coin Urban Legends: Evil Clown Colorized 1 oz Silver 2025

Urban Legends: Evil Clown silver coin 2025

The Evil Clown coin turns a familiar figure of entertainment into the subject of a chilling urban legend. Bright red hair, a theatrical face and a finger raised to the lips give the portrait an unsettling presence. Colour digital printing contrasts with the silver relief and makes the design stand out in a themed coin collection.

One ounce of silver and a limited mintage

Issued for the Republic of Cameroon in 2025, the coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, approximately 31.1 g. It measures 40 mm across and has a face value of 1000 CFA francs. Proof quality brings out the engraved details. Only 1000 pieces were issued worldwide. The coin comes in a capsule with a box and certificate of authenticity; Mint XXI is the producer.

A horror motif in silver

The sinister clown is a recurring image in popular horror stories. This issue uses that cultural motif as an artistic subject, without claiming that the story depicts a real event. It belongs to the Urban Legends series and can be displayed alongside other interpretations of modern folklore, including Bloody Mary.

Obverse and reverse

The obverse is the issuing side of the Republic of Cameroon with the denomination of 1000 CFA francs and the year 2025. The reverse shows a colour portrait of the evil clown holding a finger to its lips, with the inscription “Evil Clown”.
