San Marino - Peregrine Falcon 1 oz Silver 2026 is a silver bullion coin dedicated to the peregrine falcon – one of the most distinctive birds of prey. This issue is the third release in the series developed by San Marino and combines a nature-inspired motif with the classic form of an investment silver coin.
Peregrine Falcon in .999 Silver
The coin was struck from 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver in Brilliant Uncirculated quality. Its weight is 31.1 g, diameter 37 mm, and face value 5 euro. The mintage is limited to 15,000 pieces. The obverse was designed by Antonella Napolione, the reverse by Nina Schwarzer, while the coin was minted by the Austrian Mint, Münze Österreich AG. Each coin is offered in a protective capsule.
Obverse and Reverse of the Coin
Obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino topped with a crown, framed between branches and surrounded by the inscription “REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO”. At the bottom, the signature of the designer, Antonella Napolione, is visible.
Reverse depicts a peregrine falcon in flight with its wings fully outstretched. The rim bears the inscriptions “PEREGRINE FALCON”, “SAN MARINO 2026”, “1 OZ Ag 999”, and the face value “5 EURO”.
