The Canada’s National Parks - Kluane National Park and Reserve Colorized 1 oz Silver 2026 Proof Coin is the second issue in the “Canada’s National Parks” series prepared by the Royal Canadian Mint. The coin is struck from 1 ounce of pure Ag 9999 silver and showcases one of the most spectacular protected natural areas in Canada – Kluane National Park and Reserve, located in the southwestern part of Yukon.

Kluane National Park and Reserve is renowned for its extraordinary landscapes, featuring Canada’s highest peaks, vast glaciers, and the world’s largest non-polar ice fields. It is here that Mount Logan – Canada’s highest mountain – is located. For thousands of years, this region has been connected to the culture of the Southern Tutchone people, for whom the land is an integral part of their heritage, traditions, and daily life.

The coin has been struck in Proof quality from 1 ounce of Ag 9999 silver. Selective colorization enhances the artistic qualities of the design and the beauty of the landscape depicted. The coin has a diameter of 38 mm and a face value of 20 Canadian dollars. The mintage is limited to 7,000 pieces.

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, along with information about the issuer, year of issue, and the coin’s face value.

Reverse, designed by Steve Hepburn, depicts a picturesque view of Kluane National Park and Reserve. In the foreground are the iconic red Adirondack chairs, known from parks managed by Parks Canada, inviting the viewer to admire the surrounding nature. In the background stretch majestic mountains, glaciers, and the vast open spaces of northern Canada, capturing the beauty of one of the country’s most impressive landscapes.
