Silver Coin 150th Anniversary of the Royal Military College of Canada 1 oz Silver 2026 Proof is a collector’s issue prepared by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Military College of Canada. The coin was struck from 1 ounce of fine Ag 9999 silver and pays tribute to one of the most important educational and military institutions in Canada.

Founded in 1876, the Royal Military College of Canada has spent a century and a half educating future officers, leaders, and specialists serving in the armed forces, public administration, and many other fields of life. The institution has earned international recognition thanks to its high standards of التعليم, research activity, and the shaping of successive generations guided by values such as honour, courage, and responsibility.

The coin was struck in Proof quality from 1 ounce of Ag 9999 silver. Its diameter is 38 mm, its face value is 20 Canadian dollars, and the mintage is limited to 6,500 pieces. The design was created by Neil Hamelin (reverse) and Steven Rosati (obverse).

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Steven Rosati, along with information about the issuer and the coin’s face value.

Reverse commemorates the 150-year history of the Royal Military College of Canada. The design incorporates numerous symbols associated with the institution, including elements inspired by its flag and the motto “TRUTH DUTY VALOUR.” The composition is complemented by stars symbolizing graduates of the college who became astronauts of the Canadian Space Agency, highlighting the institution’s contribution both to the development of the armed forces and to scientific achievements and space exploration.
