The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Shadow in the East coloured 20th Anniversary of the film 3x1 oz Silver 2021 Antique coin set of 3 coins commemorates and celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Lord of the Rings film. The Lord of the Rings film is a trilogy that consists of - The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The films were made in 2001, 2002, and 2003, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's novels. The silver coins have been struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 40mm in diameter, in antique standard. The mintage of the set is 300 pieces. The Royal Dutch Mint, commissioned by the New Zealand Post, is responsible for the production of the coin.The obverses depict a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, designed by Ian Rank- Broadley. In addition, the obverses feature information on the issuing country, weight, purity of bullion and date of issue. The obverses also bear the inscription "MIDDLE-EARTH".The Rewers of the silver coins depict the characters of the Lord of the Rings film -Lurtz, Saruman, Sauron.
