The obverse of the coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, the coat of arms of the islands of Samoa along with information on the country of issue, weight, proof, year of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The reverse features the colourful figure of the iconic superhero - Aquaman.In addition, information on the weight and purity of the silver and the inscription "AQUAMAN" has been included on the reverse side.
