Rwanda: Lunar - Year of the Rabbit 1 oz Silver 2023 is a silver bullion coin that is the seventh piece to form the Lunar series. Rwanda: Lunar is an African collection depicting lunar animals from the Chinese calendar. Of course, as with other lunar collections, the image of the animals changes annually. The year 2023 belongs to the rabbit, otherwise known as the cat. The Chinese zodiac sign rabbit falls in the years 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023. The coin is struck in pure Ag.999 silver, weighing one troy ounce and measuring 40 mm in diameter. Importantly, the rabbit coin, like the entire series, is guaranteed by the Government of Rwanda and is full legal tender in the issuing country. The coin is minted in an unlimited mintage.
The Averse of the silver coin is decorated with the Rwandan emblem and information on the face value.
The Rewers shows the figure of the titular rabbit and information on the weight of the coin, the purity of the bullion used and the year of mintage.
