Polish circulation banknotes - 20 PLN banknote Gold 2024 Proof
The coin has dimensions of 50 mm x 25 mm, face value - 20 złoty and a limited mintage of up to 1,500 pieces. The Averse of the coin depicts a silver denarius with an image of a chapel dome or an image of a crown with a cross. On either side of the denarius are stylised Romanesque columns from the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec. The inscriptions on the obverse are: "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA", "DWADZIEŚCIA ZŁOTYCH", "NBP" and information about the purity of the bullion and the date of issue.
The reverse of the coin is decorated with a portrait of King Bolesław Chrobry. To his left an outline of a Romanesque portal is depicted. On the reverse are the inscriptions: "20", "TWENTY GOLD", NATIONAL BANK OF POLAND".
