The coin was struck in Ag.9999 sterling silver, weighing 1,000.1 grams and having a diameter of 100.9 mm. In addition, the reverse features a 1-gram gold "privy mark" insert. The Perth Mint, a renowned precious metals producer, is responsible for issuing the coins. The specimen features a micro-engraved lettering security feature on the reverse side.

The Rewers shows a Chinese dragon. The reverse also features a pure gold insert, depicting the Chinese 'dragon' mark, the inscription 'DRAGON 2024' and the letter 'P', the mint mark of The Perth Mint. The reverse was designed by Ing Ing Jong.
