The Ornithomimus Velox coloured 3 Euro Copper 2022 coin is a coin from the Supersaurs series, with a face value of 3 Euros. Ornithomimus Velox is the twelfth and final coin in the series. Ornithomimus Velox was the fastest and herbivorous dinosaur living in the Late Cretaceous in North America 72 - 66 million years ago. The dinosaur was up to 3-4 m in height and weighed up to 150 kilograms. The dinosaur had a very distinctive appearance through its long neck and small head.The coin comes from the renowned Austrian Mint. The 2022 copper coin has no minted weight or bullion proof. The coin is legal tender in Austria.The obverse shows 12 likenesses of prehistoric animals from the Supersaurs series. On the obverse, there is also the denomination of the coin and the inscription "REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH".The Rewers depicts a coloured, fleeing Ornithomimus Velox from another dinosaur.The reverse bears the inscription "ORNITHOMIMUS" and the year the coin was struck.
