Olympic Games2008 Silver Coin
The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing took place, and to honour this extraordinary event the Warsaw Mint created the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games coin. The coin, weighing 14.14 g and sterling silver 925, was the perfect addition to the collection. Its uniqueness is emphasised by the square hole in the central part of the coin. The obverse depicts the image of an eagle representing the emblem of the Republic of Poland, below it there is an illustration of a fragment of the Forbidden City and underneath there is the logo of the Polish Olympic Committee. Additionally, on the obverse there is information such as the face value and the year of issue of the coin, as well as the inscription RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA.The reverse shows a figure of an athlete on a windsurfing board against a background of rough waves, underneath this illustration there is an inscription: POLSKA REPREZENTACJA OLIMPIJSKA PEKIN 2008. .Do you need help?
