The gold bullion coin comes from the New Zealand Mint ( New Zealand Mint). The image of the Rooster on the coin is inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar, which, based on astrological calculations, consists of cycles of the moon, with each cycle representing 12 animals.The obverse of the Year of the Rooster coin depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value and year of issue.
