He was a German inventor and printer who played a key role in the communication revolution in the 15th century by inventing the movable form of printing. The silver coin was struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and 39mm in diameter. The mintage of the coin is limited to only 10,000 pieces.
