The first coin to start the series was a copy showing Galileo, followed by Leonardo da Vinci. The third coin in the series depicts Isaac Newton, while the fourth is Albert Einstein, who is considered one of the most eminent scientists. He was a German theoretical physicist, Nobel laureate; usually regarded as a German-Jewish scientist, although he also had strong ties to Switzerland and the USA . The silver coin was struck in pure Ag.999 bullion, weighing 1 troy ounce and measuring 39mm in diameter. The mintage of the coin is limited to only 10,000 pieces. Moreover, each coin in the series acts as a fully fledged means of payment.Each coin is supplied in a case with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.The obverse depicts a triumphant image of a muse with her hand outstretched towards the sun and the coat of arms of Niue (Public Seal of Niue), as well as information on the weight, purity of the bullion, year of issue and face value of the coin.
