Netherlands: Ducaton Rider Restrike 1 oz Silver 2022
Silver coin Netherlands: the Ducaton Rider Restrike 1 oz Silver 2022 is a reissue of the Ducaton 'Silver Rider' coinage, created in Utrecht in 1761. Originally, the "Silver Rider" coin had a bullion purity of Ag.941 and a weight of 30.846 grams. The 2022 reissue was struck in pure Ag.999 silver, with a weight of one troy ounce and a diameter of 40 mm. The Royal Dutch Mint is responsible for the production of the coins. What is more, this unique issue is recommended not only to investors, but also to collectors due to the limited mintage of 10,000 pieces. The Averse depicts the coat of arms of the Netherlands and the inscription "CONCORDIA. RES PARVAE. CRESCVNT, which means 'Concordance makes small things grow'. The obverse also shows the minting date of the coin.
On the reverse is depicted a knight on horseback and the inscription "MO.NO.ARG.PRO.CON FOE.BELG.D.GEL.C.Z.", which means "New silver coin of the Dutch Republic.
