The 100th Anniversary of the Concordat between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland 20 zł Silver 2025 Proof is an interesting numismatic proposition presented by the National Bank of Poland.
The coin commemorates the signing of the Concordat between the Holy See and the Republic of Poland in 1925, which was a key document regulating church-state relations in Poland after regaining independence. It was signed on February 10, 1925, in Warsaw by representatives of Pope Pius XI and the then-President of Poland, Ignacy Mościcki.
It is a specimen made of silver with a purity of Ag.999, weighing 28.28 grams, in the proof standard.
Additionally, the silver product has a strictly limited mintage, with a total of 8,000 pieces struck, and comes in an exclusive case along with a certificate of authenticity.
Obverse shows a fragment of the Concordat document. The obverse bears the inscription "RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2025" as well as information about the coin's nominal value.
Reverse depicts the image of Pope Pius XI and the President of the Republic of Poland, Ignacy Mościcki. The reverse features the inscription: "100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONCORDAT BETWEEN THE HOLY SEE AND THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND."
