Mexican Libertad 5 oz Silver 2020
The oldest mint in the Americas, the Casa de Moneda de Mexico, is responsible for the production of the entire series. It is also worth noting that the Mexican Libertad coin does not have a minted denomination, however, it is full legal tender in Mexico. The Averse depicts the national coat of arms of Mexico, namely an eagle holding a snake in its beak and surrounded by a wreath. Around the coat of arms are 10 historical versions of the same seal. Above it is inscribed 'ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS', or 'United States of Mexico'. The Rewers depicts a statue of the Winged Mexican Goddess of Liberty along with mountain peaks in the background. The image of Victory is based on the Roman and Greek goddess known as Nike or Victoria.
