Maple Leaf 1 oz Silver 2018 (30th anniversary)

The one ounce silver Canadian Maple Leaf Jubilee bullion coin is a particularly interesting collector's offering. The coin was issued to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the maple leaf design. The producer of the jubilee numismat is, of course, the Canadian mint - the Royal Canadian Mint. The jubilee coin differs fundamentally from the classic maple leaf design. The obverse features the, perfectly recognisable, profile of Queen Elizabeth II, the coin's denomination ($5) and the dates defining the 30-year minting period of the maple leaf coin (from 1988 to 2018). The reverse is, in turn, an extremely striking maple leaf against a large number 30. The reverse also contains information on the coin's proof (Ag 9999) and country of origin.The Jubilee bullion coin, which went on sale in 2018, is not the only special edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary.
