In Korean culture, the tiger has great significance, being considered a guardian to ward off unkind spirits and a protector of humans.The Korean Tiger series was launched in 2016 with great success, initially the series is minted in 1/2, 1/4 and 1 ounce gold. The gold medal, produced in South Korea by KOMSCO, contains 99.99% gold. This is the third gold medal in the series minted in a 1 ounce weight. The entire piece is housed in an exclusive case and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The reverse of the gold medal features a tiger, a symbol of courage, strength and good luck.
