Koala coloured 1 oz Silver 2023 (Perth National Stamp and Coin Exhibition)
The coin was issued for the Perth National Stamp and Coin Exhibition, which will be held from 2-5 November 2023, in Australia. The product has a strictly limited mintage of no more than 2 000 pieces, with each coin supplied in its original case.
The oldest Australian mint, The Perth Mint, is responsible for the production of the Australian Koala. In addition to its huge collector potential, the Koala is guaranteed by the Australian Government and is full legal tender in the issuing country.
The obverse of the silver coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, and information on the face value of the coin and the country of origin. The Rewers shows a coloured image of an adult koala with its young. The reverse features the weight, purity and year of production and the inscription 'KOALA', as well as the letter 'P', which indicates that the Perth Mint is the producer of the coin.
