Gold Coin Swan 1 oz Gold 2026 Proof High Relief
The 2026 1 oz Gold Swan Proof High Relief Coin is a prestigious collector’s issue from the acclaimed Australian Swan series, produced by The Perth Mint. Struck from 1 ounce of pure .9999 fine gold, the coin commemorates the 10th anniversary of one of Australia’s most recognizable numismatic series.
The Australian Swan series debuted in 2017 and quickly gained recognition among collectors worldwide thanks to its annually changing reverse designs and extremely limited mintages. For centuries, the swan has symbolized beauty, elegance, love, and fidelity, while also referring to the Swan River, on which The Perth Mint is located.
The coin has been struck in Proof High Relief quality from 1 ounce of .9999 fine gold. Thanks to the use of high relief, the design gains exceptional depth and three-dimensionality, allowing even the finest details of the composition to be showcased. The coin has a diameter of 27.30 mm, a thickness of 5.0 mm, and a face value of 100 Australian dollars. The mintage is limited to just 188 pieces worldwide.
Obverse: features the effigy of King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne, along with the coin’s face value.
Reverse: designed by Aleysha Howarth, depicts a majestic swan with outstretched wings soaring above calm waters and the surrounding landscape. The bird is shown against a backdrop of clouds, emphasizing the lightness and elegance of its flight. The design also includes the year of issue 2026 and The Perth Mint’s “P10” mintmark, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Australian Swan series.
