Gold Coin Call of the Wild: Golden Howling Wolf 1 oz Gold 2014
The first coin in the Call of the Wild series features a howling wolf. The second release in the collection was the Growling Cougar. This piece was produced by the renowned Royal Canadian Mint and struck in .99999 fine gold, one of the highest fineness levels used in modern minting.
The wolf is a predatory mammal from the canine family, inhabiting forests, plains, wetlands, and mountains across Eurasia and North America. It is a territorial animal, most often living in organized groups known as packs. Wolves can cover distances of several dozen kilometers in a single day, and while searching for a mate, a male may travel more than 600 kilometers within two weeks.
The precisely rendered image of a howling wolf gives the coin a distinctive character. The high purity of the precious metal makes this piece an attractive option for both investors and collectors.
Obverse of the coin features the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, the face value of 200 Canadian dollars, and the year of issue – 2015.
Reverse depicts a howling wolf. The design is complemented by the name of the issuing country – Canada, information about the coin’s weight, and the gold fineness mark of .99999.
Note! The blister packaging may have air bubbles, minor foil tears, and delicate scratches. The coin itself remains in mint condition.
