Dune Gold Bar – House Atreides 1 g Gold 2026 is a collectible release from The Perth Mint, inspired by the film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s cult novel “Dune”. The bar is struck from 1 g of pure Au 9999 gold and is an exceptional offering for fans of the Dune universe and collectors of limited-edition pop culture-themed issues.

Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides – the young heir of House Atreides, who faces a challenge that will change the fate of the entire universe. The struggle for control of the planet Arrakis and the most valuable resource in the universe leads to a clash between powerful houses, while Paul himself must discover his destiny. The film adaptation by Legendary Entertainment won eight Academy Awards and is regarded as one of the greatest works of modern science fiction cinema.

The bar is made of 1 g of Au 9999 gold and measures 15.60 × 9.10 × 1.30 mm. The worldwide mintage is limited to just 5,000 pieces. The entire piece is presented in original cardboard packaging featuring the official Dune logo and the motif of House Atreides.

The obverse, designed by Sean Rogers, depicts the crest of House Atreides set against the dunes of Arrakis and topographic lines referencing the planet’s desert landscape. The design is complemented by the Dune logo and The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark.

The reverse features The Perth Mint’s distinctive mintmark depicting a stylized swan. It also includes information about the weight and purity of the gold set against a decorative repeating background.
