Ghana: Giants of the Ice Age - Woolly Mammoth 1 oz Silver 2019
The silver coin, showing the Hairy Mammoth, is the first piece in the new Giants of the Ice Age series. This is a series dedicated to the mammalian giants that inhabited the earth during the Ice Age. What's more, the whole series will comprise eight coins, which will be issued over a period of four years. The bullion coin depicting the Mammoth was struck in pure fine silver, weighing one troy ounce. The German manufacturer Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung is responsible for its minting. This coin is also full legal tender and is guaranteed by the Government of Ghana. The silver coin culminates in a mintage of 15 000 pieces. The Averse of the silver coin depicts the coat of arms of Ghana and the inscription " Republic of Ghana" and information on the face value. The Rewers shows a mammoth figure against a winter environment. In addition, the reverse features images of all the animals that will make up the series and information on the year of issue, the weight of the coin and the purity of the bullion used.NOTE: The product may have some isolated scratches.
