The gold bullion coin Ghana: Giants of the Ice Age - Reindeer 1 oz Gold 2022 is the seventh instalment in the Giants of the Ice Age series. The series features a selection of animals from the Ice Age. The entire collection will consist of eight coins - each coin in the Giants of the Ice Age series will depict a different animal. So far, coins from the series have been released depicting the Hairy Mammoth, the Giant Deer, the Sabre-toothed Tiger, the Cave Bear, the Hairy Rhinoceros and the Aurochs.The 2022 coin depicts the Tundra Reindeer. The coin was struck from pure Au.9999 gold, weighing 1 troy ounce. The German manufacturer, Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung, is responsible for its minting. The coin is also fully legal tender and is guaranteed by the Government of Ghana.The obverse of the gold coin depicts the coat of arms of Ghana and the inscription "Republic of Ghana" and information about the face value. The Rewers shows a bust of a tundra reindeer. In addition, the reverse includes images of all the animals that will make up the entire series and information on the year of minting, the weight of the coin and the purity of the bullion used.Producer
