Fourteen-Coin Collection: 35th Anniversary of the Two Dollar coloured 2023
These unusual pieces have been made from aluminium bronze, weighing 6.60 grams, 20.50 mm in diameter. The mintage of the currency is 35,000 pieces. This unique product is packaged in its original packaging. The issuer of the piece is the world-famous producer of investment products - Royal Australian Mint. The coins act as fully fledged legal tender and are guaranteed by the Australian Government as to the legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal.
The obverses depict an image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain wearing a crown, the inscription "ELIZABETH II 1952-2022" along with information on the year of mintage, country of issue and face value. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.
Rewers of the coins show the coloured commemorative designs that appeared on the reverse of the Australian two-dollar coins.
