The 2023 Dragon 1 Ounce Silver Coin is the sixth piece to form part of the distinctive "Rectangular Dragon" investment series. The silver piece depicting the mythical dragon was struck in pure Ag.9999 bullion, weighing 1 ounce and measuring 47.6 mm x 27.6 mm and in a limited edition of 250,000 piecesThe oldest Australian mint, the Perth Mint, is responsible for the production of all editions of the Ingot Dragon coins. It is worth mentioning that each coin of the series is legal tender in the country of issue and is guaranteed by the Australian government.

The obverse of the silver Dragon coin depicts the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II along with the name of the issuing country, denomination, weight, year of issue and bullion proof. The obverse was designed by Jody Clark.

The reverse features an image of a menacing, writhing dragon, designed by Wade Robinson. In addition, the reverse features an engraved 'P' identifying The Perth Mint.
