Collector coin from the Dragon and Tiger series - Dragon and TigerIn Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a divine mythical creature, embodying power, wealth and good fortune. Dragons are often depicted in pursuit of a burning pearl, a metaphor for wisdom and enlightenment. Like the dragon, the tiger is considered a lucky animal. The pattern on the tiger's forehead is very similar to the Chinese ''king'' sign, so it has become a symbol of courage and strength. In feng shui, the dragon and the tiger are considered ideal for each other. The obverse of the coin depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II. Rewers represents the extremely interesting, Dragon and Tiger and was designed by Thomas Vaughan. It is a coin with a doubly royal pedigree and will make an interesting addition to any collection.
