Milne’s “Winnie-the-Pooh.” The coin is the third and final release in a series commemorating one of the most recognizable characters in children’s literature.

Winnie-the-Pooh first appeared in a book published in 1926, and his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood have delighted readers around the world for generations. The central theme of this issue is friendship—one of the most important values present in the stories of Pooh and his companions.

The coin is made of cupro-nickel, has a face value of 50 pence, a diameter of 27.30 mm, and a weight of 8.00 g. The seven-sided shape characteristic of British 50p coins further emphasizes its distinctive collector appeal.

Obverse features the effigy of King Charles III by Martin Jennings, along with the royal inscription, year of issue, and face value.

Reverse, designed by The Walt Disney Company, depicts Winnie-the-Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger, highlighting the theme of friendship as the central focus of the issue. The design is completed by the Disney logo and the inscription “Winnie the Pooh”.
