Creatures of the North: The Werewolf 2 oz Silver 2021
The Werewolf 2 oz Silver 2021 is the second coin in the Creatures of the North series. This series of two-ounce coins focuses on depicting legendary creatures. The first coin in the series was the Kraken, a sea monster. This intriguing coin, notable for its reverse design, was struck from pure silver with a fineness of Ag.9999 and a weight of two troy ounces. It was produced by the renowned Royal Canadian Mint. Additionally, the silver coin featuring the legendary werewolf is enhanced with extra security in the form of a micro-engraved maple leaf illustration with the number 21, as well as a distinctive background of radial lines on both the reverse and obverse. The obverse of the silver coin features the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, designed by Susanna Blunt. The obverse also includes the year of issue and the coin's face value. The reverse presents a stunning interpretation of the creature known as the Werewolf. The reverse also displays the weight and fineness of the metal.
