Canada: Medal of Bravery Colorized 50th Anniversary 1 oz Silver 2022 Proof is an interesting numismatic piece commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Canadian Medal of Bravery. In the Canadian honours system, it is the third-highest distinction awarded for acts of exceptional courage. The medal was established in 1972 and is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated heroism in dangerous circumstances.

The coin was struck from 1 ounce of .9999 fine silver, has a diameter of 38 mm, and was produced in the Proof standard. The mintage is limited to 6,000 pieces. This numismatic item was produced by The Royal Canadian Mint, and its authenticity, weight, and metal purity are guaranteed by the Government of Canada. The coin is also legal tender in the issuing country.

Obverse: features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, along with the face value and the name of the issuing country.

Reverse: depicts the Medal of Bravery with a maple leaf surrounded by a laurel wreath, along with the inscriptions "BRAVERY BRAVOURE" and "1972–2022". The reverse was designed by Jason Sikoak.
