The Buckingham Palace £5 Silver 2024 Proof Piedfort is a unique product that commemorates Buckingham Palace. The palace is the official residence of the British monarch in London. It is located in the borough of Westminster and has served as a residence and workplace for monarchs since the reign of Queen Victoria in 1837. Buckingham Palace is also the venue for official state ceremonies, audiences, banquets and other events associated with the public life of the royal family. The product is minted in Ag.925 sterling silver, weighing 56.56 grams, 38.61 mm in diameter, proof and piedfort standard. The mintage of the coin is 800 pieces. In addition, this extraordinary piece was produced by The Royal Mint. The product has been housed in its original packaging. The coin is guaranteed by the UK government as to its legality, purity of the bullion and origin of the metal, and is full legal tender in the issuer's country.

The obverse shows the likeness of King Charles III of Great Britain and information on the date of issue and the face value of the coin. The designer of the obverse was Martin Jennings.

The Rewers of the coin depict Buckingham Palace. The reverse bears the inscription 'BUCKINGHAM PALACE'. Henry Gray was responsible for the design of the reverse.
