The Beneath the Southern Skies 2021 series includes a 9999 sterling silver coin weighing 1 troy ounce and a 9999 gold coin weighing 1 troy ounce. Both coins in the Beneath the Southern Skies 2021 series were produced by the renowned precious metals producer Royal Australian Mint.

Reverse each coin in the Beneath the Southern Skies 2021 series features the outline of the Australian continent on the background of the Southern Cross constellation with a pecker, Australia's signature animal, placed in the location of Sydney. Whereas obverse depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain with the year, denomination and country of minting.
