Banknote Switzerland 20 Francs (CHF 20) Circulated
The 20 Swiss franc banknote is not only a means of payment but also a technologically advanced security document. It belongs to Switzerland’s latest banknote series, in which each denomination refers to a specific value—in this case, creativity, symbolized by the motif of light.
Artistic motif: The central element of the design is a hand holding a prism through which light disperses into a spectrum of colors. This symbolism relates to creativity, innovation, and diversity. An additional motif is the constellations of stars above the globe, emphasizing Switzerland’s scientific and modern character.
Security features:
Globe test: A color-shifting element that, when tilted, reveals a purple arc.
Security strip: Visible in the lower part, displaying changing red and green numerals.
Perforated cross: Micro-holes forming the Swiss cross symbol, visible when held up to the light.
Watermark: Depicts a globe and the Swiss cross, visible when backlit.
UV effect: Under ultraviolet light, a hidden globe and security fibers become visible.
Features for the visually impaired: Raised lines along the edges allow the denomination to be identified by touch.
Color scheme: The banknote is dominated by shades of red and purple, enhancing its aesthetics and facilitating denomination recognition.
Additional security features: Microtext in the four national languages, infrared-visible elements, variable optical effects, and dual serial numbers printed in different typefaces are used.
Important!
This item may be exchanged at a currency exchange office and the purchased means of payment is non-returnable. When purchasing banknotes, if the title or product specification does not specify particular features such as the serial number, special marks (if present), year of issue, or design version, the banknotes are sent at random with respect to these parameters, without the possibility of selection by the buyer. The customer cannot choose the year of issue, serial number, special marks, a condition other than that indicated in the product description, or the design version (e.g., for EUR banknotes—new and old designs, or for GBP banknotes—portraits of the king or the queen). All of the above rules apply to transactions for the purchase of the listed means of payment.
