Banknote Poland 20 Zloty (20 PLN) UNC
The 20-zloty banknote is a modern means of payment, combining aesthetics with advanced security technologies. Its dimensions are 126 x 63 mm, and the design refers to the figure of King Bolesław I Chrobry, symbolizing the beginnings of Polish statehood and rich cultural heritage.
On the obverse of the 20-zloty banknote, there is a portrait of King Bolesław I Chrobry, surrounded by elements referring to his reign. On the left side, there is a Romanesque portal, and on the right – a crown of a young oak from the Gniezno Doors, depicting the scene of St. Adalbert's body being exhibited. The banknote features a series of innovative security measures, such as a watermark with the ruler's image and the digital denomination "20," visible under light. Additionally, the oval crown creates a complete image when viewed under light, and the tactile elements, such as denomination markings and the ruler's portrait, are also accessible for the visually impaired.
On the reverse, there is a silver denarius of Bolesław I Chrobry with a bird silhouette and the inscription "PRINCES POLONIE." On the left side is the image of the rotunda of St. Nicholas in Cieszyn, and on the right – a drawing of a lion on a vine from the Gniezno Doors. Additional security features include an iridescent band in lilac color and microprints, making the banknote difficult to counterfeit.
