Australian Koala 1 oz Silver 2026 Liberty Bell Privy ANA Coin Show Special
The 2026 1 oz Silver Koala Coin Liberty Bell Privy (ANA Coin Show Special) is a limited issue prepared by The Perth Mint to mark the American Numismatic Association World's Fair of Money 2026, held from August 25–29, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The coin was released as a special edition dedicated to this prestigious numismatic event.
The coin was struck from 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, has a weight of 31.107 g, a diameter of 40.90 mm, and a face value of 1 Australian dollar. The mintage has been limited to just 2,500 pieces, emphasizing its collectible character.
The obverse, designed by Dan Thorne, features the official effigy of King Charles III along with the coin’s face value.
The reverse, designed by Ing Ing Jong, depicts a colored koala sitting on a eucalyptus tree branch and holding a leafy twig in its mouth. The composition is complemented by motifs of Australian flora and the special Liberty Bell Privy mark, depicting the Liberty Bell—one of the most recognizable symbols of freedom and independence in the United States. The reverse also includes the inscription “KOALA”, the “P” mintmark, the year of issue 2026, and information on the silver’s weight and purity.
The coin is housed in a special presentation card prepared for the ANA World's Fair of Money 2026, featuring the event logo and its dates of आयोजन. The packaging also includes a fold-out stand, allowing for an attractive display of the coin.
