Australian Kangaroo 1 oz Gold 2013
The Australian Kangaroo, the most famous bullion coin made from the highest gold sample of Au.9999. The product has a circulation of 350,000 units. This gold coin is produced by Perth Mint, the oldest existing mint in Australia.
The kangaroo is a symbol of Australia and appears in the state coat of arms. The name kangaroo (from English. kangaroo) given by English settlers comes from the Aboriginal word "gungurru," which the natives used to describe the gray kangaroo. Kangaroos can move at extraordinary speeds, close to 50 km/h, and overcome obstacles up to 3 meters high and up to 12 meters long.
Obverse the gold coin invariably depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain along with the name of the issuing country and the denomination of the coin.
On the reverse side the bullion coin depicts a kangaroo standing on the grass against a background of trees and sunshine. The image of a kangaroo surrounds the inscription "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" and information about the coin's vintage, weight and the bullion purity from which it was made.
