Australian Kangaroo 1 oz Gold 2011
The kangaroo is a symbol of Australia and appears on the state coat of arms. The name kangaroo (from kangaroo) given by English settlers comes from the Aboriginal word 'gungurru', which the natives used to describe the grey kangaroo. Kangaroos can move at extraordinary speeds, close to 50 km/h, and can overcome obstacles up to 3 metres high and as much as 12 metres long.
It is worth mentioning that what distinguishes this product from other gold investment coins is that the design of the coin's reverse changes annually. What is more, it has an additional security feature in the form of an engraved letter "P" on the reverse side. The Averse of the gold coin invariably depicts a portrait of the Queen of Great Britain, Elizabeth II, together with the name of the issuing country and the denomination of the coin. The Reverse of the bullion coin depicts a kangaroo, with the sun's rays spreading in the background. The image of the kangaroo surrounds the inscription "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" and information about the coin's vintage, weight and the bullion grade from which it was made.
